My name is Dennis Rosenberg and if you look carefully you’ll find me just under the “M”, right next to Jeff Walker, in the photo at right.
As your Product Launch Manager I can assume full front-line operating responsibility for successfully managing all details of the launch in three main areas:
1. Primary contact for JV partners and affiliates, including recruitment, motivation, management and materials creation
2. Responsible for creating and/or coordinating copywriting and all other marketing creative deliverables
3. Project management and coordination
In more detail, this typically includes some or all of the following, although not all apply to every launch:
- Strategy and tactical planning of the pre-launch and launch
- Creation of surveys and other tactics for pre-launch market feedback and overcoming objections
- Creation, management and hosting of a detailed, online project management system with user accounts for everyone involved in the launch, including monitoring and task assignments (Basecamp)
- Writing email copy sequences for customers and JV partners as well as writing swipe email copy for JV partners to use
- Conceptualizing squeeze pages and other list building tactics
- Creating blog copy and other content
- Brainstorming pre-launch content ideas, scripting, timing and creation
- Viral distribution strategies such as web video, social media, article marketing and Web 2.0 properties
- Refining offer details including pricing, bonuses, upsells, add-on sells and continuity strategy
- Working closely with and coordinating input and deliverables from project principals, in-house staff, webmaster, freelancers, outsourcers and other outside vendors
- Coordinating with webmaster, hosting account, merchant account and payment processor to ensure smooth shopping cart performance and merchant account payments
- Establishing customer service operating procedures for launch support
